- 05/12/202305/12/2023 - stlpost

The City of Fort Pierce is hiring.

City Attorney Tanya Earley submitted her resignation letter to Mayor Linda Hudson and City Commissioners on April 20th. She’s been the city’s top lawyer since September 2021.

Earley gave 90 days’ notice to leave her post, and her office confirmed her last day would be in July.

The resignation leaves Fort Pierce searching for its fifth City Attorney in eight years.

The city declined to comment on the matter.

In her resignation letter, Early wrote, “It has been an absolute honor to serve you and this beautiful city.”
